Please support me!
I’m taking on the Mega Miles Challenge in support of the Charity for Civil Servants. Make a donation to my page and let’s go one step closer to making sure no civil servant faces life’s challenges alone.
Every penny we raise helps to ensure our free, confidential support is there for colleagues when life gets tricky, from money worries and financial help to wellbeing and mental health support.
For colleagues like Hannah, that support can be life-changing: “I couldn’t even put into words how terrible it was. I was really unwell by this point and stress just took me out. I ended up taking time off work from anxiety. It’s about having someone to listen to you and tell you you’re going to be alright”.
Your donations will go further thanks to Baringa
A big thank you to our Supporting Partner Baringa who will match your fundraising pound for pound up to £5,000 - helping your fundraising go further!
“Civil servants play a vital role in delivering essential services and driving long‑term change, often under intense pressure. At Baringa, we are proud to work alongside government and public sector organisations to help them meet these challenges. Partnering with the Charity for Civil Servants on the Mega Miles Challenge is an exciting step forward, allowing us to deepen our support and help make a meaningful difference for civil servants across the UK.”

My Updates
The Heat Is On
So miles are creeping up along with the temperatures across the country. Its looking like evening rides and minimal time Zwifting in the garage.
Mechanical road bike issues persist so it short road rides and time in the hill on the MTB for me.
Lets get out there and keep racking up the miles.
Recovery Is On!
Miles and frequency slowly increasing as the calf continues to heal but the mechanical issues with the NEW road bike are still not resolved.Beautiful weather means more time in the hills on the mountain bike and less time chasing the screen in the garage on Zwift. If only I could be out on the road bike putting in some real mega miles!
This weekend see the Summer Solstice so myself and some other slightly unhinged mountain bikers will be off to Avebury to watch the Sunrise on the longest day. Please say its not all downhill until winter!!
The Physical & Mechanical Struggles Continue!
So the leg mends albeit slowly, but the biking mechanical gods seem to continue to be against me. No matter whether its a never been ridden bike or a trusted steed something always seems to need fixing. In the meantime the Zwift garage sweatfests continue!

The Worst Time For A Disaster And An Injury!
12 months on from the last mega miles challenge and super excited to get going in '26!What should happen...... I introduced my bike to a steel headroom bar - "PING", then I tear my calf playing tennis with my boy - "PING"!
Its been a super slow start to the challenge. Small miles and light effort. All miles are good miles though, so its fingers crossed for a swift recovery and adding some "MEGA" miles for this fantastic cause.
