Reasons why

Hi guys,

In May I have pledged to walk 155 miles for the Charity for Civil Servants. This charity provides great support to those who work to service our communities! 

It provides current, past, and retired Civil Servants with financial support, counselling and advice services who are struggling and so much more!

I am doing this fundraiser for my mum who as most of you probably know sadly passed away in February of this year to cancer. This charity offered support to me during one of the hardest times of my life and I would just like to give back and make my mamma proud. 

I know times are tough but any donations is appreciated and welcomed! you can also keep up to date with the fundraiser via the link where I will be posting updates about my progress! (So if you wanna watch me suffer you know what to do 🤣)

I’m taking on the Mega Miles Challenge in support of the Charity for Civil Servants.

The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.

"When we didn't know who to turn to, the Charity was our life raft. We grabbed onto it when we felt like we didn't have anything to hold onto. It gave us answers to a question when we didn't have the answer ourselves... and it was so important to have that support at the time."

They’ve been there for civil servants for nearly 140 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so I'm fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.
