Prize Terms & Conditions

Thank you so much for joining us for the Mega Miles Challenge. We have the following prize draws running and the terms and conditions for them are below.

The promoter of these entries is the Charity for Civil Servants (Civil Service Benevolent Fund), a Charity registered in England and Wales no. 1136870 and registered in Scotland SC041956. The registered office is 5 Anne Boleyn's Walk, Cheam, Sutton, SM3 8DY. 

By entering these prize draws, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.  

We have the following prize draws running and the terms and conditions for them are below.

Sign up before the end of April and use the code MEGA to be in with a chance of winning one of three £500 gift vouchers:

  • The Charity for Civil Servants reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draws and competitions and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.  
  • These terms and conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.  
  • Prize draws are not open to employees of Charity for Civil Servants. 
  • One winner will be selected at random for each competition and notified by 1 July 2025 via email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick replacement winner(s).  
  • The winners last name and county can be obtained by email fundraise@cfcs.org.uk within one month after the closing date of the prize draw but the Charity reserves the right not to release this information if it reasonably considers doing so would identify the winner. 
  • The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.   
  • The prize is not transferable.  
  • Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.  
  • Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. Accordingly, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof. 
  • Late, illegible, incomplete, or corrupt entries, or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch shall not be accepted as proof of receipt. 
  • Once provision of the prize has been achieved, the recipient accepts there is no resulting or subsequent liability relating the use of said prize.
