Please support me!

I’m taking on the Mega Miles Challenge in support of the Charity for Civil Servants.

The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.

They’ve been there for civil servants for nearly 140 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so I'm fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.

Let's give something back in recognition of our gratitude and thanks.

My Updates

Thank you

A personal thank you from us.

Thank you to the Charity for Civil Servants for;

Vital support with Wellbeing and resistance for individuals past and present across Civil Service.

Deep understanding of challenges faced day in, day out by individuals.

Safe space and trustworthy support.

Provision of peer support

Raising awareness to reduce stigma and promote a supportive culture.

And most importantly making people feel valued, respected and understood.

You're commitment and dedication to put people first, does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and sponsored Tracy throughout this challenge.

Over £330, 150 miles.

Snuggle Squad #TeamRocco

This update is for my beautiful boy Rocco.

And my eldest son James.

Mike Oxall my backside, visually impaired I may be, I see your playful name pun there son, I'll get you back don't you worry about that cheeky chops.

Dog sitting James Frenhie Rocco and it alway amazes me how in sync we are in both frequency and energy.

I often trust the energy of animals more than some human beings.

PawSome Pals shall we say.

The concept of human and dog
frequency and energy is often discussed in the context of emotional healing, spiritual connection and animal communication.

This is evidenced with Emotional Support Dogs and in particular Guide D0gs that support and assist people with impairments to navigate the world safely.

For clarity, Rocco is neither of the above, he is my beautiful loyal boy who in fairness has patiently sat alongside my treadmill keeping me company.

How's that for emotional resonance and vibrational entertainment.

Progress Verus Perfection

May is proving to be a reflective month for me.

2nd May was my 25th anniversary with DWP, 25 years, goodness me where has the time gone.

Memories and most importantly the life long friendships.

The title from this posts stems from an Accessibility event I attended recently and poses a reminder that we live and work in a diverse environment.

Each of us unique.

Each of us living and dealing with a range of challenges on a day to day basis.

To be truly inclusive, is to maintain a mindset that is open TO EVERYTHING and attached to nothing.

To be kind, compassionate and understanding is all that really matters.

Accessibility is not about striving for perfection, it's making steady and sustainable progress for EVERYONE.

I'll finish by saying thank you to each of my sponsors.

Together Stronger ❤

Teide ' Or Not ' Teide

What a week...

Feeling blessed.

Thank you to my beautiful children and husband for the wonderful adventure and memories.

Mount Teide sunsets, star gazing,  crazy Buggy adventure and last but not least early morning 5 mile walks with my beautiful daughter in law.

At one stage I was incredibly self conscious using my white cane in public, ashamed and embarrassed even.

No more.

Real vision comes from within and with the right support behind you, there's absolutely NOTHING that you cannot achieve.

My running days are behind me as I'm no longer safe to run, though   that said, my hunger for fitness and well-being remains.

Adapting is key.

Never underestimate what you are truly capable of and always reach out to help others along their own personal journeys in life.

Everyone needs a helping hand and listening ear at times.

Thank you Kind for the sponsorship.

Strictly the Best ❤

Sat here in beautiful Costa Adeje with my family feeling blessed and incredibly happy.

I had the honour and privilege of meeting my personal hero Saturday, Chris McCausland.

What an amazing and inspirational wonderful person.

Thank you Chris for shining your light bright and raising awareness for the Blind and Visually Impaired Community.

You fill my heart with hope.

Talking about hope, this week me and my daughter in law have been hitting the beach at Costa Adeje at silly o clock in the morning and smashing our 5 mile daily challenge.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday all done, planning on a few drinks tonight so we wait with baited breath to see what happens tomorrow morning.

Heartfelt thanks and big cwtches to those who have be able and kindly sponsored me.

Love Tracy X

Doing the Right thing, at the Right time for the Right people❤

That time of year again.

Time to dust off those shoes and do our bit to support CFCS by means of getting our colleagues,  teams and loved ones involved in the Mega Miles Challenge.

I love this challenge, it's great for our physical and mental health topped off with doing our bit for this loyal and dedicated charity.

This one is for all my fellow colleagues and loved one's within the Blind and Visually Impaired Community.

See the Person, not the Impairment.

Big Cwtch

Tracy ❤
