I’m Walking 70 Miles This May – And I Need Your Support!
This May, I’m taking on a challenge that’s definitely outside my comfort zone: walking 70 miles to raise money for a cause that means a lot to me. For someone who isn’t exactly a seasoned hiker—or even someone who regularly tracks their steps—this is going to be a serious test of willpower, determination, and maybe even my feet!
I won’t lie—70 miles sounds like a lot because it is a lot. But that’s exactly why I’m doing it. I wanted to choose a challenge that would push me, get me moving, and show my real commitment to supporting a charity that’s doing important work.
Whether it’s rain or shine (or let’s be honest, probably both), I’ll be out there clocking up the miles throughout the month of May. Your support—whether it’s a donation, a word of encouragement, or even just checking in on my progress—will make all the difference.
The Charity for Civil Servants is a great cause and I’m delighted to be a part of their fundraising efforts for the first time and in the words of my good friend (and a well known supermarket) every little helps!

I’m taking on the Mega Miles Challenge in support of the Charity for Civil Servants.
The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.

They’ve been there for civil servants for nearly 140 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so I'm fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.
