Let’s see how far we can go as a Civil Service community,
to help each other when life gets tough.
When?
Taking place during the month of June, you can do it when it suits you! Some may do it throughout the whole month, and others may want to organise one big walk – however you do it, you'll make a difference to civil servants who need our help right now.
what?
We believe in the Civil Service coming together to support each other. Every mile you move, however you take part, brings us one step closer to making sure no civil servant faces life’s challenges alone.
Every step matters. Did you know that if you walked 10,000 steps a day for a month you would travel roughly 155 miles
As Hannah puts it: “Being a civil servant is the best job I’ve ever had. If nobody helps each other, then where does that leave us? We’re supposed to be a community that works together.”
How?
It's FREE to take part and you can do it on your own, or in a team. You can also keep track about how far you’ve stepped to helping to make sure colleagues are one step closer to having the support they need during their toughest moments.
Once you've signed up you'll be able to create or join a team and from 1 June you will be able to manually upload your fitness activities via your account (or connect Strava to track automatically, if you choose).
Be a part of something bigger
The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants and their families when they face tough times, offering free support for life. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, we’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings. We’ve been here for civil servants for generations, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most.
“I just wanted to highlight that the support is there because I know there are probably people that are struggling and don’t know where to go for help.” Demi
