This year we will be taking part in The Tinsel Trek in December to raise funds for the Charity for Civil Servants.
We will be holding a Short Trek & a Big Trek for colleagues to get involved in.
The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.
They’ve been there for civil servants for over 137 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so I'm fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.
Here’s an idea of how your donation could help;
The Charity for Civil Servants:
· £8 could provide someone with support booklets on sleep, anxiety and looking after their mental health
· £17 could provide online support for carers feeling isolated
· £25 could help a family cope with rising energy costs
· £32 could provide an elderly couple access to vital legal advice as plan for the future
