In lieu of a traditional leaving gift for Anne Spinali, we are inviting colleagues to contribute to a collection for the Charity for Civil Servants. This is a cause particularly close to Anne’s heart. As a trustee and current DfE ambassador for the charity, Anne has been a passionate advocate for the vital support it provides to serving, former and retired civil servants and their families, particularly during challenging times. A contribution to the charity is therefore a fitting way to recognise Anne’s commitment to supporting others and to celebrate the difference she has made during her 20 years of public service so far.
About the charity:
The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings. They’ve been there for civil servants for over 137 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so we're fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.
