Share a Heart Share Hope - DHSC Valentines Day event

This Valentine’s Day we are inviting colleagues across DHSC to take part in a simple act of solidarity through our “Share a heart- Share hope” hope campaign, in support of the charity for civil servants. 

There are two simple ways to take part 

1) Share a heart: Send a selfie and your short message of support and we will post it on our internal screens across DHSC sites (you can opt out of the selfie if your camera shy)

2) Share hope: If feel able, we invite you to donate the cost of your Valentines morning cup of coffee or whatever you can give to the charity for civil servants.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s turn kindness into action and show colleagues in DHSC and across the civil service that we are there for them today, tomorrow and whenever they may need some extra TLC. 

The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times.  From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, they’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.

They’ve been there for civil servants for over 137 years, providing an umbrella of support when it’s needed most and so I'm fundraising to make sure they can be there for future generations too.
